Large Fitted Wardrobes

These large wardrobes and headboard are fully fitted with precision and style, ensuring every inch of space is utilized effectively. With conveniently installed electrical sockets, you can easily charge your devices without clutter. The full-height cupboards provide ample storage for clothes and accessories, making them ideal for organized living. They feature elegant rebated handle details that add sophistication to the overall aesthetic. This design enhances the furniture’s visual appeal and conceals unusable gaps that tend to accumulate dust, keeping your living space clean and polished.
Book-case with Desk
Brockley, SE4
This striking design uses wallpaper for the back panels, creating a bold visual impact. The convenient desk and cupboards are thoughtfully integrated, maximising functionality without sacrificing style. Each element is meticulously chosen to enhance usability, ensuring that every inch is utilised effectively. Additionally, the choice of colours and textures in both the wallpaper and furniture adds depth and character, making the environment not only practical but also inviting and visually appealing.
Fitted Ikea Kitchen
New Cross, SE14
Service included complete removal of the existing kitchen, which was outdated and lacked functionality. I held multiple design meetings with Ikea to ensure the new layout met all the client’s needs and preferences. I coordinated with electrical and plumbing works to facilitate a seamless renovation process. This small kitchen now boasts significantly more storage space and an array of modern features that enhance its usability and aesthetics. Notably, it includes a state-of-the-art induction hob, which not only adds a sleek look but also improves cooking efficiency, making the kitchen a truly delightful space for culinary adventures.
Fitted Full Height Book-cases
New Cross, SE14
This design of full height fitted bookcases maximises the storage capacity of alcoves while preserving the profile and character of the chimney breast. It transforms the space into a delightful showcase, allowing books and cherished items to shine while maintaining a harmonious balance with the room’s architecture.
Large Fitted Bookcase
Telegraph Hill, SE14
This very large bookcase was commissioned to serve as a replacement for flat-pack bookcases. It is a fitted unit, meaning it fully encompasses the space it occupies, with panels that are either cut or scribed to the sides. This design provides a more integrated appearance and effectively conceals unusable gaps that are prone to accumulating dust.
The shelves are fixed at heights pre-agreed with the client.
Floating Shelves
Oval, SW9
Floating shelves leave as much of the original features intact as possible, thereby maximizing both the feeling of space and storage within a room.
These shelves are, of course, not adjustable once installed, which means that careful consideration should be taken during the planning process to ensure they meet all functional and aesthetic needs.
Oak Veneered Bookcase
Telegraph Hill, SE14
To replace a free standing bookcase with a cabinet that maximized the space between kitchen worktop and existing cupboards. This fitted unit is made of oak veneered board, which is finished with a clear oil to protect from wear and tear whilst preserving the colour of the oak.
The shelves are easily adjustable in height using shelving pins. Shelving can also be fixed if needed.
Bass Trap Panels
Brockley, SE4
The client was converting a small room in his house into a voice recording studio. The panels were built using the design created by Hugh Robjohns & Paul White – Bass Trap Panels
The traps used a high-density Rockwool slab at the back, with a hanging curtain of dense barrier mat plus two further curtains of high-density felt carpet underlay in front. The felt and barrier mat are left to hang freely within the panel, and can thus move slightly to absorb low-frequency energy.
Planters
Southwark, SE1
The Hide Bar wanted some planters to make their street facing windows more attractive. They approached the team at Lend and Tend who do all sorts of excellent work like this. They realised that purpose made planters would be needed here since the window was such an unusual shape and so they contacted me. The upcycled pallet wood seemed a good choice, since it has a lovely varied texture and the herringbone design has a strong sense of movement about it and is quite striking.

When the team at Angel Comedy took over this pub in Islington they needed to transform the main bar into their comedy performance space. So the bar had to be completely removed and then rebuilt in the smaller room next door. As much of the existing material as possible was saved and refurbished.
